Giving you the expertise to take self help and self care further
Building on our thirty years experience of supporting self help groups in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire, Self Help UK is the home of self help.
Providing a hub of expertise and information covering all aspects of good practice in self help and mutual aid groups, we can provide a comprehensive package of support and resources on setting up, maintaining and supporting self help groups.
We have a team of highly experienced self help training and development workers who will work alongside individuals, groups and professionals to help them make the best use of their own personal skills, experience and ideas.
Support is available right from the start and throughout the lifecycle of the group and can be as little or as much as required.

Self Care Training
The strain of long term conditions is massive, both on the individual and on healthcare services; but it does not have to be. Self Help UK will be delivering Self-Care Training to health and social care professionals so that you have the best tools and information to enable your patients/citizens to self-care and pick up some tools for your own health and well-being.
By understanding how and why self-care can be dually beneficial, you will be helping your patients/citizens to keep control of their lives and access health services appropriately.
