Summary

The aim of the group is to communicate in a supportive environment and give confidence to members. Many activities are held each month, as well as some social get-togethers, workshops and raising awareness of aphasia.

Other information

Aphasia is a speech and language problem following a stroke, brain tumour or brain injury. This can affect the ability to speak, read, write, read numbers and comprehend.

The first two meetings are free to newcomers and there is a £5.00 per year membership.
