Black-led youth charity supporting young people, mostly from BAME communities, through creative training programmes, projects & activities.

Summary

FYA offers young people who are not in education, employment or training the opportunity to feel a sense of belonging, come together, learn from other young people, and build confidence and skills that can keep them away from violence on the streets.

For BAME communities, people affected by gang violence/knife crime between the age of 16 – 29, people out of work who need retraining or a change in career.

FYA supports young people with counselling, music therapy, housing, employment skills development and community engagement.

Opening times

The group meets to offer support every Tuesday 5pm – 7pm.

Unit 8, Howitt Building, Lenton Boulevard, Nottingham NG7 2BY.

There is no charge and each person will have an assessment to determine what support is needed for that individual.
