Summary

Meetings are a great chance to meet up and share information and tips. We aim to keep the meetings light-hearted and each month have a theme to get the conversation started.

Meetings are only open to those who become members of the charity, but non-members can attend a taster meeting.

The HMSA offers support and Information Standard accredited health and care information to people who have a hypermobility syndrome, including Hypermobility Spectrum Disorder (HSD), Joint Hypermobility Syndrome, Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (all sub-types), Marfan Syndrome, Stickler Syndrome and Osteogenesis Imperfecta. Run by people affected by a hypermobility syndrome for people with a hypermobility syndrome, a number of the HMSAs staff and volunteers are also medical professionals in their own right, which enables the charity to offer advice and support to relevant professionals (including social workers, GPs, consultants, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, psychologists and teachers).
