Summary
Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire IA has been providing support to people with ileostomies and internal pouches in the counties of Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire for over 50 years. We are also happy to offer non-medical advice to members and those still considering surgery, through our trained visitors.
We have developed strong relationships with all the hospitals in our area, and also support them by attending their annual Stoma Care Open Days on behalf of IA.
IA members receive the IA Journal every quarter, plus the Midlands IA Bulletin three times a year. Notts and Derbys IA members are also sent our local newsletter, which is just one of the ways we keep people informed of what we are doing.
We hold our AGM around March/April each year and an increasing number of social events throughout the year. You can keep up to date by visiting our events page.
