The strength of peer support – Wendy faces her fear to raise funds.

Nottinghamshire Primary Biliary Cholangitis peer support group volunteer, Wendy, recently shared her story with us. Following the death of her close friends’ grandson, who sadly took his own life in 2021, with support from friends and group members she decided to face her fears by skydiving, to raise funds for charity in his memory.

“This pain will never go, just wanted to do something positive for the family. Flying and heights scare me, this is something Nyle always wanted to do so why not!”

Wendy
